Born out of the Great Recession, EMC Capital was founded on the belief that talented builders and rehabbers shouldn’t be held back by lack of access to capital. At a time when traditional lenders pulled back, we stepped in to bridge the gap—offering financing to experienced developers who knew how to execute but couldn’t find the funding to do it.

What sets us apart is our perspective. We’ve been active participants in real estate development since 2005 and lending since 2010, giving us a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities that come with every construction and rehab project. Because we’ve been in the builder’s shoes, we approach every loan with an operator’s mindset—focused on timelines, budgets, value creation, and results.
